Blocks harmful microbes and microscopic particles.

Improves Clarity

Reduces turbidity for cleaner, clearer water.

Better Taste & Odor

Activated carbon reduces chlorine, odors, and VOCs.

WHAT'S HIDING IN YOUR WATER?

How It Works

  1. 1

    Untreated Water In

Raw water from the main line enters the inlet manifold at up to 80 PSI.

    Three Media Stages

Sediment, KDF-55 and 0.5-micron carbon strip particles, metals and chemicals in sequence.

  3. 3

    Membrane & Out

The hollow-fiber membrane holds back what's left, and purified water flows to every tap at 15 GPM.

Inside the System

TANKLESS RO2 ULTRAFILTRATION DELIVERS RO-QUALITY WATER WHOLE-HOME

Cutaway illustration of the Reactive Osmosis (RO₂) vessel: raw water enters, passes sediment and carbon, then hollow fibers; clean water exits.
  1. 1

    Untreated Water Inlet

    Contaminated water enters the system.

  2. 2

    Flow Distributor / Inlet Manifold

Evenly distributes water across the filtration stages.

  3. 3

    Sediment Pre-Screen

Removes sand, rust, silt, and larger particles.

  4. 4

    Activated Carbon / Adsorptive Media

Reduces chlorine, odors, VOCs, and taste issues.

  5. 5

    Ultrafiltration Hollow-Fiber Module (0.01 µm)

Bundles of hollow fibers create a membrane barrier that blocks bacteria, cysts, microplastics, turbidity, and fine suspended solids larger than 0.01 µm.

  6. 6

    Clean Water Collection Chamber

Collects purified water from the membrane fibers.

  7. 7

    Purified Water Outlet

Clean, filtered water exits the system.

  8. Flush / Drain

Removes trapped sediment and backwash debris during maintenance or a manual flush.

Contaminated Water (Raw Water) Purified Water (Clean Water) Captured / Rejected Contaminants

Regular maintenance and periodic flushing help ensure optimal performance and a longer system life.

How Reactive Osmosis (RO2) Works

1

Pre-filtration traps larger particles

The sediment pre-screen captures sand, rust, silt, and other visible particles.

2

Carbon media adsorbs chemicals and odors

Activated carbon binds chlorine, VOCs, and odor-causing compounds.

3

The membrane blocks what's left

Clean water passes through the hollow fibers; very fine contaminants are retained outside.

Conventional Whole-House RO

Tank, brine, and a slow refill

  • Needs a bulky storage tank taking up garage or utility space.
  • Sends a large share of your water down the drain as brine.
  • Delivers slowly - heavy demand outruns the tank.
  • Does reduce dissolved salts and TDS.

This System - Reactive Osmosis (RO2)

Full pressure, no tank, no brine

  • Fully tankless - the membrane vessel mounts on the wall beside the housings.
  • 15 GPM on demand, enough for the whole house at once.
  • Blocks bacteria, cysts, colloids, microplastics and many viruses outright.
  • 80,000 gallons and roughly a year between filter changes.

Traditional RO vs. Reactive Osmosis

TWO WAYS TO GET REVERSE OSMOSIS QUALITY WATER

A traditional whole house reverse osmosis system and a Reactive Osmosis (RO2) system are both after the same result - RO-quality water at every tap.

Traditional Reverse Osmosis

A tank, a pump, and water down the drain

  • Needs a bulky pressurized storage tank in the garage or utility room.
  • Needs a booster pump to push water through the membrane.
  • Sends a large share of your water to the drain as brine.
  • Produces slowly - heavy household demand outruns the tank.
  • Does reduce dissolved salts and TDS.

Reactive Osmosis (RO2)

Tankless, pumpless, full pressure

  • Fully tankless - the vessel mounts on the wall beside the housings.
  • No booster pump - runs on your existing line pressure, up to 80 PSI.
  • No brine line, so you are not paying for water you never use.
  • 15 GPM on demand - enough for the whole house running at once.
  • Filters to ≤0.01 microns: bacteria, cysts, colloids, microplastics and many viruses.

Reactive Osmosis (RO2) delivers RO-quality water at every tap without a tank or pump. It won’t lower TDS like true RO.

RO-QUALITY WATER WITHOUT THE RO TANK

Conventional whole house reverse osmosis has three well-known drawbacks: it needs a storage tank, it needs a booster pump, and it sends a large share of your water down the drain as brine - then delivers it slowly. Reactive Osmosis (RO2) takes a different route to the same result. A hollow-fiber membrane with pores at or under 0.01 microns physically blocks bacteria, cysts, colloids, microplastics and many viruses - contaminants no carbon filter reliably stops - while running tankless at 15 gallons per minute. It's worth being clear about the tradeoff: RO2 is not a reverse osmosis membrane, and it won't lower dissolved salts or TDS the way a true RO system does. What it does remove is everything particulate and biological, which is what most homeowners are actually worried about, and it does it for the whole house at full pressure.

EVERY TAP, NOT JUST ONE

Treated at the main line, so kitchen, bath, laundry and ice maker all match in Loxahatchee Groves.

CLEARER ICE & GLASSWARE

99.99% turbidity removal shows up first in your ice cubes and drinking glasses.

HELPS CONTROL SCALE

KDF-55 redox media helps prevent hard-water scale buildup in pipes, fixtures and appliances.

PROTECTS APPLIANCES

Sediment and scale never reach your water heater, dishwasher or washing machine.

GENTLER SHOWERS & LAUNDRY

Chlorine reduction at the main line means softer-feeling water for skin, hair and fabric.

ONE SERVICE A YEAR

80,000 gallon capacity and long-life media keep upkeep to a single annual visit.

Whole House Reverse Osmosis in South Florida

EVERYTHING TO KNOW ABOUT WHOLE HOUSE REVERSE OSMOSIS

Most homeowners want bottled-water quality at every tap, not just the kitchen sink. Here’s how whole home RO works and why we install RO2.

What is a whole house reverse osmosis system?

A whole house RO system treats water at the main line, so every fixture gets purified water - kitchen, baths, laundry, ice maker and outdoor spigots.

Why traditional whole house RO is hard to live with

True RO produces water slowly, so whole-house RO needs a big tank, a booster pump, and a brine line that wastes water. Heavy demand can outrun the tank.

How Reactive Osmosis (RO2) is different

Reactive Osmosis uses multi-stage filtration—sediment, KDF-55, carbon, then ≤0.01 µm UF—to block particulates and biologicals at 15 GPM, tankless.

Does whole house RO remove fluoride, chlorine and heavy metals?

KDF-55 and carbon handle chlorine, VOCs and many dissolved heavy metals. The membrane blocks bacteria, cysts, microplastics and turbidity. TDS is the exception.

How much does a whole house reverse osmosis system cost?

Whole home RO systems often run several thousand dollars once the tank, pump, plumbing and labor are counted. Our RO2 system is $2,995 installed.

City water or well water - and where we install

On city water, KDF-55 and carbon reduce chlorine and taste/odor at the main line. On wells, the pre-filter and membrane handle silt and biologicals.
