Advanced ion-exchange technology removes the calcium and magnesium that cause scale, spots and dry skin - so every tap in the house runs soft, conditioned water.
The System Itself
A high-capacity resin tank and a built-in brine cabinet, installed where the water enters your home. It runs itself - the electronic valve tracks how much water you actually use and regenerates on demand, so you are never without soft water and never wasting salt.

How It Works
Hard water from the main supply enters the system and leaves as soft, conditioned water. The softener removes the hardness minerals - calcium and magnesium - that cause scale, spots and dry skin, giving you soft, luxurious water throughout your home.
Why hardness is the problem
Calcium and magnesium are dissolved rock. They do not filter out the way sediment does - they come out of solution as scale on anything warm or wet: the inside of your water heater, the shower glass, the dishwasher element, the faucet aerators. Ion exchange is the only method that actually takes them out of the water rather than just changing how they behave.
Sits on top of the tank, monitors usage and regenerates automatically when the resin needs it.
Ion-exchange resin attracts and removes hardness minerals as the water passes through the bed.
Holds salt for automatic regeneration, so the resin is recharged and you always have soft water.
It regenerates on demand, not on a clock
Timer-based softeners regenerate whether you needed it or not - wasting salt and water on a quiet week, and running out mid-cycle on a busy one. This valve meters what the house actually uses and recharges the resin at the right moment.
See & Feel the Difference
Softening is one of the few upgrades you notice without looking for it. The shower feels different, the glassware comes out of the dishwasher clear, and the ring around the faucets stops coming back.
| Around the house | Before - Hard Water | With a Softener After - Soft Water |
|---|---|---|
| Pipes, heater & fixtures | Hard water scale and buildup | No more scale or spots |
| Dishes & faucets | Spots on dishes and faucets | Shiny, like-new fixtures |
| Skin & hair | Rough, dry skin and hair | Softer skin and silkier hair |
| Laundry | Stiff, scratchy laundry | Softer, fluffier laundry |

Soap and shampoo lather properly in soft water, so you use noticeably less of both.
The Mr. Pure Water Whole-House Water Softener uses advanced ion-exchange technology to take the calcium and magnesium out of your water before it reaches a single fixture. A high-capacity resin tank - up to 42,000 grains - does the work, while an electronic control valve meters how much water the household actually uses and regenerates on demand rather than on a timer. The built-in brine cabinet keeps the resin recharged, and a low-salt indicator tells you when to top it up. The result is soft, conditioned water at every tap: no scale in the water heater, no spots on the glassware, no film on the shower door, and noticeably less soap and detergent to get the same clean.
