How It Works
Hard water from the main supply enters the system and leaves as soft, conditioned water. The softener removes the hardness minerals—calcium and magnesium—that cause scale, spots and dry skin, giving you soft, luxurious water throughout your Modello home.
Why hardness is a problem in Modello
Calcium and magnesium are dissolved rock. They do not filter out the way sediment does—they come out of solution as scale on anything warm or wet: the inside of your water heater, the shower glass, the dishwasher element, the faucet aerators. Ion exchange is the only method that actually takes them out of the water rather than just changing how they behave.
Sits on top of the tank, monitors usage, and regenerates automatically when the resin needs it.
Ion-exchange resin attracts and removes hardness minerals as water passes through the bed.
Holds salt for automatic regeneration, so the resin is recharged and you always have soft water.
Regenerates on demand, not on a clock
Timer-based softeners regenerate whether you needed it or not—wasting salt and water on a quiet week, and running out mid-cycle on a busy one. This valve meters what your Modello home actually uses and recharges the resin at the right moment.
See & Feel the Difference at Home
Softening is one of the few upgrades you notice without looking for it. Showers feel better, glassware comes out clear, and the ring around the faucets stops coming back—great for busy Modello households.
| Around the house | Before - Hard Water | With a Softener After - Soft Water |
|---|---|---|

Soap and shampoo lather properly in soft water, so you use noticeably less of both.
The Mr. Pure Water Whole-House Water Softener uses advanced ion-exchange technology to take the calcium and magnesium out of your water before it reaches a single fixture. A high-capacity resin tank - up to 42,000 grains - does the work, while an electronic control valve meters how much water the household actually uses and regenerates on demand rather than on a timer. The built-in brine cabinet keeps the resin recharged, and a low-salt indicator tells you when to top it up. In Modello, where homes may be on municipal water or private wells depending on location, this means soft, conditioned water at every tap: less scale in the water heater, fewer spots on glassware, less film on the shower door, and noticeably less soap and detergent to get the same clean.
